Place Picture

HyperGASP makes it easy to add color images and graphics. Pictures can be quickly attached to buttons, to "hot" text, or can be integrated into an interactive, automatic quiz.

HyperGASP lets you paste in color graphics created in external applications simply by typing command-V, a task not supported in HyperCard alone. Graphics imported in this way are saved as PICT "resources" automatically.

HyperGASP includes a convenient "Picture Picker" browser to help you find and manage your picture resources.

You can place images as opaque "picture objects" which can be easily scaled or relocated. You can then attach sounds and other button effects directly to pictures just as you would to any button. You can also use the "Button Maker" to create invisible "hot spots" on images which trigger pop-up text, movies, or other media links. These invisible hot spots can be translated directly into HTML "image maps" when exporting cards to web pages.

You can associate individual color visual effects with each image, as demonstrated by the "show owl" button on this card.
